I have been wanting to come here for a while now and am so glad that I finally got the chance to dine here for a friends birthday dinner. We loved every item we ordered, including the lychee martinis. The stuffed chicken wings were our favorite. Busy place so I recommend making a reservation if you do not want to wait. The staff was all very friendly as well!

After writing my review for sister restaurant Liholiho, I realized I never shared my experience at GGCC! My review is for December 2022 and September 2023. I can tell you that I will always rely on the chicken wings and the tartare. The other dishes weren't that memorable for me but nonetheless food is always good, especially if you don't eat Asian flavors a lot. All of the flavors here are familiar so nothing tends to stand out for me. Service is either on or off. I remember my first time here in 2022 service was amazing, but in September 2023 my friend and I felt that our server was having a bad day. Ambiance has a very modern, chill look to it with green walls, tables, and barstools. Parking is tricky since it's located in the Mission so plan ahead and I'd def recommend making reservations in advance!

Made reservations on resy for 2 at 6:45pm on. Saturday. It is pretty easy to get reservations if you plan ahead. Seated fairly quickly. Atmosphere is more casual. We ordered the beef carpaccio, tuna, chicken wing and pork jowl. Waitress recommended 5 dishes for us two but we decided we could always order more. Cocktails ranged from $18-22. I thought price was a bit steep for the amount of drink you got. Both the beef and tuna appetizers were so fresh and had a blast of flavor in each. Crunchy, sweet, savory, spicy I would highly recommend both. Stuffed chicken wing, amazed by the way they debone and stuff it with egg roll filling. A bit too tangy and bitter with orange for me, but the overall dish was creative and one to try. Pork jowl, wow. Charred without the burnt taste and super tender, would highly recommend. 4 dishes for 2 made us content. Portion wasn't too big so I'm glad we were able to try multiple dishes!

I walked in with a group of 3 at opening and snagged a sizeable table outside. I've tried Liho Liho before and was looking forward to trying Good Good, since I've heard great (and even better!) things. Service was quick and the food was unique and memorable. I would definitely come back if I'm in the mood for fun Asian fusion dishes. The best - whole fried petra sole: the fish bones are crunchy and delicious, along with the fried filets in the savory sauce. The star of the show and a definite must order. - tuna tataki: the best tuna tataki I've ever had. Amazing flavors with the mix of kumquats and sweet and spicy ponzu. Make sure to eat some scallions, herbs, and kumquats with each bite. A must order. Good - good good chicken wings: these were fun but I would just order one to share with friends for your first time. It's a deboned whole chicken wing that's filled with eggroll stuffing and covered in an orange chicken-like glaze. Nothing mind blowing flavor-wise, but unique, creative, and fun! Pass: - lao style snack plate: nothing interesting. Just some cucumber, jerky, and pork rinds with spicy salsa. - scallion steam bun: my least favorite. The flavors were not there, the beef was dry and tough, and the bun itself was not fluffy. I noticed that they switch up the steamed bun flavors, so maybe it was just this recipe.

A well rounded experience at another great restaurant in the mission! This place is perfect for large groups and birthdays. Super lively atmosphere -- it does get a bit loud but the music is upbeat + modern, and the interior design is colorful and quirky. There's a bar and partially open kitchen concept, as well as general indoor and outdoor seating. Came here on a saturday night and got seated right away. The staff was very friendly and helped us choose from their selection of food options. everything was made family style so it was great to share and try a variety of different dishes. We ordered 5 dishes between 2 people: - crying tiger shrimp: this was amazing. the shrimp was well seasoned and the coconut cream provided a subtle layer of sweetness. lots of acidity with a slight kick to the dish. this was one of my favorites. - beef carpaccio: so good. the sweetness of the watermelon radish and pig ear on top added such a great pairing to the thin slices of beef, which we wrapped the greens with. there was a slight spice kick and it was quite acidic as well. oddly enough, it had very similar flavors to the crying tiger shrimp so it was almost hard to taste the difference between the two. - good good chicken wing: the wing had a great batter that made it very crispy and the orange glaze was very prominent. I'm not the biggest fan of very sweet dishes for my main meals but this was still quite good. stuffing inside the wing was soft and added a nice balance to the crispiness of the batter. - grilled oyster mushroom: very strong east asian flavors, noticeable garlic and soy flavor. it was good but nothing too crazy and something that I've tasted before. - pork jowl: smoky flavor and very fatty, but not as tender as I expected? definitely a bit chewier. the nuts on top added a nice crunch and the green grapes provided a sweetness that contrasted with the savoriness of the pork, but the sweetness of the grapes didn't come through as much. The food came in well spaced out phases so I didn't feel rushed or overwhelmed. Loved how there was a variety of hot and cold plates. Didn't order any drinks but would love to come back and try their drinks and other dishes on their menu!

Came here with a really large group, about 15 people, it was great for a big group because the only thing you have to individually order is your drinks. There was no trying to figure out how much food to order or apps to share. The table they gave us was also more than enough room for our party size. It was lively but not too loud of an ambiance. The staff was so friendly and accepting of our group. They even humored us in lighting the candles and singing happy birthday for our birthday king The cocktails were all so amazing! So much flavor and cute presentations. I will say that mine came with the small ice so it got diluted really fast. But I did appreciate the metal straw. The food was excellent. Everything had a unique flavor. My favorite was the shrimp with cabbage salad and raw jalapeño. So spicy and fresh. I don't eat pork or red meat so I couldn't eat two of the entrees which means I was a little hungry after the meal. Not a huge deal but wouldn't come back here on my own for those dietary restrictive reasons. Not that they wouldn't accommodate a restriction but I think a person who enjoys pork and red meat would be able to fully appreciate this meal, the steak was a lot of peoples favorite! Would highly recommend for a big group!

What a lively and fun atmosphere! All the staff are friendly and ready to recommend their favorite dishes. We came for an early dinner on Friday night was able to get seated inside at 5:45. Of all the dishes we tried I would say the pork jowel, crying tiger shrimp salad and the lao sausage were truly standout and warrants a visit back. The jowel had a gorgeous char and was so tender. While the crying shrimp salad was both refreshing and a little painful, when they say kick they mean more like drop kick to your taste buds but nothing a sip of water can't quell. This dish really showed off the balance of acidity, spice, and a little sweetness. The Lao sausage was juicy and had a unique flavor profile it wasn't overly sweet like a Cantonese sausage as I was expecting. Now for the slightly less WOW items. The stuffed wings I would say were just alright, the stuffing was similar to an egg roll but was lacking that signature crunch. The orange sauce was more orangey and less sweet than I expected. In my mind I was envisioning a sticky sweet sauce. The green curry had a good amount of toppings but the flavor didn't live up to the other dishes. I would say it was a bit mild and tame for a curry especially if you're enjoying it over rice which tones down the flavor. This is the perfect place to catch up with friends with a bottle of wine and the tapas style menu ensures you get to sample a good variety of the menu.
